How do I make chocolate fudge with peanut butter fudge on top?

Every time I try this the two separate and fall apart. I'm trying to make some of this for the holidays.

What is the trick for keeping the two fudges together? What am I doing wrong?

put a layer of saran wrap or something on top of the regular fudge while making the peanut butter fudge, remove it just before pouring the peanut butter fudge on top. It sticks together much better that way.

the only other way is to have 2 people cooking and making both types of fudge at the same time so the regular can be poured into the pan then the peanut butter directly on top of that while they are both still very hot.
