I got centipede bite what to do?
Hi,
I got bit by a centipede which crawled to my right underarm un-noticed while i was taking bath this morning, (12 hrs ago from now)
when I was taking bath today I felt a sudden pain under my right arm i raised my hand just to see a small 1.5 inch centipede crawling, I remove and kill it and since then i'm feeling slight pain over there, thought the target area was slightly below the hairy area of under arm, it is slightly reddish in color,
My Question is :-
any home remedy or medicine?
is it Lethal? though i goggled the centipede bite and it says "no" ?
Note: I'm Asthmatic, allergic to corticosteroids and taking Montelukast (sodium salt) as treatment on regular basis
waiting for reply@@

No, it is not lethal lol. You will be absolutely fine and there is no need to worry. If you make sure it is keep clean, and you could use cooled boiled water for this with a little added salt. This mixture is a mild antiseptic and is all you need. The red area is just where the bite was and should fade over the next day or two. If it becomes itchy, painful or very red then you could see the doctor. If you are able to take anthistamines then you could take one, and that will help prevent any allergy symptoms. Good luck
