Tracy, I'm assuming you have custody of your daughter through a court order. If you don't, then get one. If you do have legal custody and he's being charged with having to pay child support, that may be the reason he did this. Do you have any family ,embers that would stand up for you in court and testify that you're a good mother? On the flip side, are you doing anything that would give him genuine cause to be concerned about his daughter]s safety? He might indeed have a case if he can prove there's something illicit going on. The primary thing that both of you should think about is the well being of the child. Don't put her in the middle of a grown up fight. If necessary, get an attorney and let him handle the case. He can figure out what's going on.

How do you know who called?

CPS never tells you who called.

    Callers can even be anonymous.

Being a Christian Yes I would forgive.

But that does not mean I have to keep company with them.

We are suppose to forgive 70x7, however, maybe its time for a restraining

order on your daughters father, cite harassment since nothing has been proven at CPS.

He would have to have a reason or he would be charged with something. Maybe he is worried about your daughter. If you are doing something to cause her harm, then thank him one day for scaring you into changing. Be honest and admit it if you are doing something to harm your daughter in any way.

only if I were truly doing something destructive...like drugs....and then sobered up and realized I was unfit,

if he is doing this as revenge on you--I would not forgive...because he is endangering your child for his petty tantrums...he may assume he would get custody...but they may find him unfit also and put her in the system....horrendous!

    Wow.

Boy. . . for the sake of my child, I have no choice but to be civil. But that's, like, seriously messing with your life. Holy cow, that's awful.

Forgive? Hell no. Pretend it didn't happen any time my child is within ear shot? Have to.

Poor dear. I feel for you. :(

when some one calls the cops on you, they crossed the line unless it was for safety reasons so no I would never forgive.

If the cops did not bring donuts, pizza, beer or coffee then it cannot be forgiven!
