Good book to read for 18 year old?

I am an 18 year old guy. I don't read books to often but want to start. But I don't know too much about any good reads or authors... What's a good fiction book to read?

18 and a guy..... Only if I had the same stats as you... WELL I DO!

    You should read:

Lord of the flies (Awesome book on "true" human behavior.)

The Picture of Dorian Gray (Kinda dark, but VERY interesting.)

YOU HAVE TO READ--------The Things They Carried (Great Fictional book about the Vietnam war which addresses the emotional/ social/ psychological aspect of the war with a great story, you will actually learn something important!)

    --Harry Potter Series- (Of course)

--Percy Jackson Series (Kiddish, but a great story line, its a fast and very easy read.)

    Give these a try

OH, the best book series ever that everyone MUST read is.............................................................................................................................................................................................................. The Twilight Series (Not Really tho, this **** sucks.)

My favorite book is The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. Looking For Alaska by the same author is excellent too. :(

This is an older book and may be available at your library. I has it all--it's fast paced, has a fun plot, and involves a bit of real research:

lord of the rings by j.r.r tolkien. really long, can be slow and way too many side plots. but it's worth it
