do busses run on new years eve in scotland?

    I'm not sure, I think they do. I took a bus in Edinburgh last year on New Years.

    I don't know if they last all night though

    New Year's Eve is called Hogmany in Scotland. Many buses stop earlier but day-time services are as normal. No, or few, buses on New Year's Day.

    Special late buses in cities with celebrations eg Glasgow, Edinburgh
