Why has America fallen from "In God We Trust"?

I'm gonna ask this question again.

First, I'm a Christian and I'm 13 (male). The official motto of the USA is "In God We Trust", when Doubt about the existence of a god or gods is growing rapidly among Americans under 30. Polls show that overall American confidence in organized religion is declining, and that younger Americans in particular are becoming increasingly irreligious, 16.1% of Americans describe themselves as agnostic, atheist, or simply having no religion, up from 8.2% in 1990. America does not believe in God, America has turned away from God.

Here are quotes:

"They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other gods to serve them; the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant which I made with their fathers. Therefore thus says the LORD: "Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them." (Jeremiah 11:10-11)

"Four centuries ago, God saw a boatload of people leave the comforts of Europe to worship Him biblically in a new land, and blessed their descendants into a mighty nation. At the height of our prosperity, however, we turned away from God, who is withdrawing His prosperity and security.

I love to sing the words, “AMERICA, GOD SHED HIS GRACE ON THEE.” I love

those words because they are true regarding the past of America, and I love those words because

they offer hope for the future for America. Without a doubt, GOD HAS SHED HIS GRACE ON

AMERICA as a nation in the past, and we certainly do need the GRACE OF GOD for the

present and the future! Without the Grace of God, America would have never become a nation,

and without the Grace of God, America would be non-existent right now. History reveals that

during the founding years of America God was respected and sought by many. Thus, the

GRACE OF GOD was experienced. But over the more recent years, we have seen a turning

away from God in America to the point that if we are going to continue as a nation, the GRACE

OF GOD is needed more now than ever! Why? Because, in my opinion, AMERICA HAS, BY

IN LARGE, FORGOTTEN GOD, AND THE NATION THAT FORGETS GOD SHALL

PERISH, EXCEPT BY THE GRACE OF GOD! Today, from the pages of the Old Testament

and from the example of Israel we are going to note a warning that NO NATION, INCLUDING

AMERICA, CAN GET AWAY WITH FORGETTING GOD. EACH OF US IN AMERICA

MUST TAKE HEED TO THIS WARNING!

Often, Israel was told NOT TO FORGET

GOD! However, they did NOT take heed to that warning. They FORGOT GOD…JER. 2:32;

HOSEA 13:6. Because they forgot God, the Northern Kingdom of Israel experienced the

Assyrian Captivity in 722 BC, the Southern Kingdom of Israel experienced the Babylonian

Captivity in 586 BC, and the Nation, as a whole, was taken captive by the Romans in 70 AD.

All of this could have been avoided if Israel would NOT HAVE FORGOTTEN GOD IN THEIR

NATIONAL LIFE. AMERICA MUST TAKE HEED!

A NATION THAT FORGETS GOD SHALL PERISH

Also, a popular American saying is "God Bless America". Yeah right, when more and more people in the country don't believe in God, we have removed teaching kids about God in school and yet, alot of us believe in evolution or are atheists or Jehovah witnesses, Buddhists, Muslims and other religions. I know I am young but my country will perish. How can a country that was founded on the principles of the Bible fall to be a country that is losing faith in God? It's not late to turn back. Come on people. I will teach my kids about God and the Bible and will make sure whatever they learn in school that's says God is not real, they will say, "No. God is real" and they will maintain their faith and teach their children, like I did and I will find a God fearing wife. My beautiful fellow American citizens, do not turn your back on the Holy Father.

You guys can bash me or tell me a whole bunch of stories about how God is not real, I don't care and I won't believe them

Update:

I didn't say, "In God We Trust" was the original motto, it is currently the official motto, that's what I said.

You know I actually have a problem with the words "In God We Trust" printed upon currency. You do know that many of the founding fathers of the United States were Free Missions and the symbology printed upon the currency are Pagan symbols in fact all of Washington D.C. was designed under the Free Missions from their streets, to the government buildings, to the national monuments.

And think about this how currency is used do you really want the word "God" printed upon it. And it also makes you wounder why our currency says "In God We Trust" is this implying that the United States government is God, or that the currency itself is God.

Seeing as "in God we trust" and "...under God..." We're not originally part of either of those pieces (something almost everyone seems to gloss over at best) I see no reason moving towards returning to our original motto and moving towards removing it from the pledge is a bad thing when it could encourage more unity in this nation again.

    can't find the question here,

did you want to know how silly believing in super beings in the sky is..??

    I can answer that...

edit: "I didn't say, "In God We Trust" was the original motto, it is currently the official motto, that's what I said."

And what I'm saying is that it's not my motto, I never repeat it and it's silly to even think there's super beings who care what it says on my money...

I don't think that was ever America's official motto. Not before the Cold War, anyway.
