If you like both Sociology and Psychology, but want a major that has the potential to lead to a marketable Bachelor's Degree, I strongly suggest majoring in Social Work. Social Work involves elements of both fields. Should you earn your degree and become licensed, you'll find there is a lot of work available. Should you wish to specialize, in Medical Social Work, School Social Work, or Clinical Social Work, you will need a Master's Degree, but it will only take one additional year to complete if you already have the BSW. The Entry Level Wages are not the greatest, but over time, you can expect to make about 65,000 per year.
