The United States has become reactive in it's old age.

Unfortunately that means that it only takes a few to ruin it for everyone.

They should not but they do, that is they way the world works. 99.99% do not hijack airliners but we all must go through security before we get on a plane. We put lock on our doors even though most people will not rob us if the door is open. We spend a lot of money on guards and pay taxes for police and prisons just because a small minority of people are dishonest. A few people ruin things for all of us in so many ways, why should having gun be different.

nicely, better guidelines might want to be made if ninety 9.ninety 9% do not use it anyhow, so im no longer putting forward complete eradication, yet very few better enforcement. imagine about it. in the adventure that they don't use it anyhow, then the better enforcement gained't count number. yet you're properly, the better enforcement shouldn't replace the workouts of the truthful ones. this is only... in the adventure that they are no longer gun proprietors themselves, then "responsible" ones lent it to them, or were stupid sufficient to no longer lock it away. besides, better regulation is a small, small, SMALL cost to pay in substitute for combating what surpassed off to those Conneticut children. the shape rocked the country. enable's no longer rock the global next time.

Just read in the nz news that some other gun nut started shooting in a hospital in the usa and security police shot him dead. Two people have gun injuries. This seems to be getting more common in the usa so something needs to be done.

Phony tears from Obama !!!!! People are asking themselves where does this **GUN** ideology come from ?? How `bout from The White House ! Obama said : ‘If They Bring a Knife to the Fight , We Bring a **Gun**’ !!! This was directed at the folks who opposed his radical socialist agenda !

This blog post was published in 2008. In the wake of the shooting rampage in Tucson, Ariz., a number of lawmakers and others have called for toning down the political rhetoric and President Barack Obama led a moment of silence this morning for the victims.

Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?

That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraiser Friday night. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

The comment drew some laughs and applause. But it also struck a chord with his Republican rival. John McCain’s campaign immediately accused the Democratic candidate of playing the politics of fear. They also mentioned that Obama said he would use a gun that would be illegal under Obama’s plans to cut down on illegal firearms.

“Barack Obama’s call for ‘new politics’ is officially over. In just 24 hours, Barack Obama attacked one of America’s pioneering women CEOs, rejected a series of joint bipartisan town halls, and said that if there’s a political knife fight, he’d bring a gun,” McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds said in a statement.

Obama made the comment in the context of warning donors that the general election campaign against McCain could get ugly. “They’re going to try to scare people. They’re going to try to say that ‘that Obama is a scary guy,’” he said. A supporter yelled out a deep accented “Don’t give in!”

“I won’t but that sounded pretty scary. You’re a tough guy,” Obama said.

Here's a BETTER Question: "How many more Mass Killings will it Take- before a Responsible Society decides to DO Something about the Problem " ?? :o

    Source(s): Hundreds ? Thousands ?? -MORE ??! :o

I have a gun and hope I never have to fire it outside the firing range. Nut cases are getting guns legally and using them to commit crimes. Outlawing guns would only take them out of the hands of the responsible people, but the criminals will always have them.

One person murdered per 9000 gun owners per year is an acceptable figure. You crybabies just suck it up? So what if 20 schoolchildren get murdered now and then. Why weren't they armed?

Why weren't their teachers armed. There should be an assault rifle in every classroom and hand grenades in the closet.

It sounds like the liberals on here are ready to throw in the towel and end freedom as we know it over a few nut cases.

In my state, you can purchase a weapon at a gun show without a background check, without any written or firing range testing, without a psych evaluation...any fool with the cash is good to go.

    This would be...wrong.
