Walking and jogging combined to lose weight?

i've heard of people who jogged 5-6 times a week and their legs got too muscular and bulky because of their excessive exercising.

I really dont want bulky, i want slim and lean.

So i want to combine walking and jogging.

I would exercise 5 days a week, or even everyday of the week. Im a student so after school everyday i'll go to the gym and walk/jog on the treadmill and sometimes mix it up with the elliptical or cycling if im bored?

Im free most weekends so why not 7 times a week? Too much?

My main question is : for slim, lean legs, should i walk 30 mins, then jog 30 mins in one day and do the same thing everyday?

Or should i walk 1 hr for one day, then the next day jog 1 hr, then repeat the cycle?

I would mix it up a little.so u could walk for like two mins, jog for 3 mins, then sprint for a minute.continue until u have done 30 mins.then do squats n lunges.they have adductor n abductor machines for the inside n outside of ur legs, then the leg press n leg extension.dont have it too heavy.do three sets of 12 on each.then the next day do 15 mins cycling then cross trainer.upper body weights.id mix it up so u could do this for 4 days then try a class, like spinning, kettlebell or maybe swimming on the 5 th day.always drink lots of water and eat healthy, havr a cheat day where u eat what u want.dont b too strict over xmas tho, enjoy it!
