Should Britain leave the EU altogether ?

Britain has never been at ease in the European Union. It has been bargaining for a just return on its contribution to the European budget. It has been fighting against any form of regulation, particularly social and fiscal regulation. It has been left out of the Euro-zone, whose members have just signed a Treaty on fiscal discipline and the creation of a Banking Union. Britain has bet on a collapse of the european currency, and lost.

That will only expose the British indifference, irresponsibility towards Europe & disinterest. It construes a deep seated British petulance. At some point of time the British should give up the Imperial ghost. Unexorcised it will sink the British aircraft carrier in the Atlantic lock, stock & barrel.

Britain does gain somewhat from being part of the European Union in terms of trade, taxation and also subsidies (if you go to the provinces and the north you will see signs near developments and road works stating how much of it is being paid for by European Development grants and also if you were to talk to farming people you would see that a large number of farms would not survive if it were not for the European Union farming subsidies that they receive) however on the principal of democracy and fairness I think we should leave the E.U. The majority of Europeans seem to have no problem that the richest nations should subsidise the poorest and that the most stable and rational nations should subsidise those with chaotic and corrupt governments however I am not at all keen on this.

the ecu is a grossly overestimated gravy prepare for the politicians and has no longer some thing what-so-ever to do with freedom, liberty and democracy. 75 p.c. of all guidelines are literally made up and surpassed contained in the EuroParliament with out any reference both to the British human beings or their parliament. What has Britain gained from the ecu? no longer some thing. What has Britain lost with the aid of being a member of the ecu? Our fishing fleet now destroyed previous any wish of restore. Our farmers putting land aside and unable to augment the flora they prefer on their land. All bananas contained in the ecu might want to come from former ecu owned colonies. blah etc. the really component i can say about the ecu it extremely is of benefit, is that we can now hate one yet another in complete safe practices. This became no longer so contained in the Thirties. ecu = Bureau-Krauts - each body in uk thinks the Frogs are a issue, besides the undeniable fact that this is not any longer them, this is the Huns. awaken they prefer to get their fat sausage palms on our nukes. i'm no longer daft yet Gondolheim Braun is.

Lost...Don't be so sure. The EU looks very unstable. The Germans want out. The Greeks are likely to leave. The north will only prop up the south for so long.

"Britain has never been at ease in the European Union." - What exactly do you base this statement on?

Britain has not been left out - it chose to stay out of the Eurozone.

Please do not distort the facts in this important discussion.
