Yes, of course. Beg for money and look for handouts instead of work for it yourself.

Gather your peeps. Have a brainstorming session. Acquire matters like homemade blankets, foodstuffs, and tickets for donations from nearby comapies which can be fortunate enough to have you ask them for them. Resturants, film theaters, simply go and ask and they're going to provide you with anything. It can be a tax write off for them. Just make up some receipts to claim that they donated to you.
