Why does Google Adsense do this?

Despite having 133 unique visitors to my site this month on a new site, google adsense says in total this month I have had "4 page views". Now since most of these visitors hit multiple pages, 896 pages to be exact, I don't understand this statistic of "4 page views" for the entire month. My account stopped showing data and other statistics stating No Data Available. Also when I try to contact them, the page tells me that the account I am signed into is not linked to Adsense so it won't let me email anyone. There is no way to contact them. All ads are showing correctly on my pages so I am feeling a bit ripped off. I am just about ready to delete the account entirely, what an awful experience.

What other good ad programs are out there that actually work? Does yahoo have one?

Update:

The problem started when I put an ad on my guestbook, and next day all these problems started. I realise I get lots of people trying to spam my guestbook, lots each day, so they must be the unhygenic hits. I will delete the ad off of there and maybe that will fix some of the problems. I have posted on the adsense forum 2 days ago and got no reply. Truly adsense should warn people not to put the ads on pages that gets spammed a lot....for us beginners, we never heard of unhygenic visitors.

Update 2:

Thx both answers :) After 7 days of frustration, it is suddenly working again! I didn't delete any ads...seems it isn't counting views of my guestbook lol. It says 60 views over 30 days but I had 300 uniques, I guess most of them are not genuine but guestbook spammers.

Now Yahoo refuses to let me choose a best answer, will try again tomorrow.

I believe Yahoo publisher network was discontinued about 1 year ago, you can search for Adsense Alternatives to find alternative ad networks, since you need tens of thousands of visitors to earn the min Adsense payout one of the second tier ad systems that pay out at 1/10 the amount might be good. You would find that Adsense pays better than most other ad systems.

There's probably some technical problem with your site that Google may not be reporting to you, all pages have Adsense installed, have you had Adsense serving active ads for the entire month. So far you have not missed out on much money give it more time and see if it's corrected by the time you get more traffic. like at least 133 unique a day.

Adsense is good. Seriously. I am one of the regular helper at official adsense help forum. See adsense track their data with their own algorithms. So what other services show may not be acceptable to adsense. Even Google analytics and adsense show different data. Such a huge discrepancy in stats can be due to invalid traffic. Invalid traffic is the traffic that is not hygienic and will not convert well. Hence Google wont give any payment from such traffic. Infact, your account can be disabled forever and you may never be able to come back to adsense in such case. I recommend you to discuss the matter at adsense help forum. People there will surly help you. You never know you can find me even.

Yahoo have their publisher network called Yahoo publisher network but it is not available in all the country. I use adsense and I am happy with it. :)
