If you want something that appears more manly... classic cocktails are the way to go.

Most bartenders make a muck of classic drinks but here are a few things to try

Horsefeather. Its not too far away from your rum and coke and is quite manly.

- Good whiskey/ginger beer or ginger ale/ angostura bitters.

Also try:

Old fashioned

Manhattan

Sazerac

Rye negroni

Whiskey on the rocks

Scotch Splash of water

Beer

Its a big subject, but those are my man choices for you. The quality of the spirit really makes the drink as well. If you find you don't like this kinda stuff... no worries. Doesn't make you "less" of a man. Drinking rum and coke with a smile is better than choking down a cocktail you hate.

The best way not to get drunk to early is at the start of the night get a low percentage of alcohol e.g blue wicked keep drinking Sputnik 1 hour or 3 then start getting higher then you will be drunk not steaming

Kryptonite! This drink has Lychee flavoured vodka, blue vok and apple juice in it.

Vodka and redbull! Obvious

Redskin! White rum, raspberry cordial and lemonade.

Squashed frog! Midori, advocat and a touch of raspberry cordial.

1900-***-ME-UP! This drink is great if you're looking for a quick buzz! It has, absolut kurant, grand marnier, chambord, midori, Malibu rum, armatetto, cranberry juice and pineapple juice. Not one for light weights!

Absolut sex! Absolut kurant, midori, cranberry juice and a little lemonade or 7-up!
