Why not tax millionairres based on the amount of jobs they create?

They create more jobs, get taxed less. They create less jobs, get taxed more.

because there is more to a country than creating jobs.... plus, you are going away from the real purpose of taxation...the real purpose of taxation...duh?!!!??? is to raise tax revenue.....its not to have a nice feeling that oh wow...wasnt that nice that Mcdonalds hired a ton of people dirt cheap and therefore the people who earned all the profits therefore pay no or little taxes since they have X amount of minimum wagers on payroll.

You know what bothers me the most about ideas like yours?? its like you people are acting like you have to reinvent the wheel. We as a country know what works....we used to have a very successful country. Why all the new fancy ideas? what is wrong with the old ideas that worked. I mean its not like we have to go 200 years or 100 years or even 50 years to find some tax policies that existed when the country actually had good employment, generally strong economie and lower budget deficits. My question for you is...why are you ignoring the policies that worked? and why is it that the plan that you offer now is still biased towards the notion that if someone creates jobs that they are divinity...and implicitly should not have to pay taxes? why is it that you oppose that the more millions someone makes...that the more they should get taxed?

Now..if you want to tax heavily but give some taxbreaks for companies that make goods in the USA (creating jobs)...then I am for that.

As Obama's foray into job creation showed, there isn't a decent, unbiased way of calculating "jobs created". He got credit for all kinds of jobs that didn't actually exist. I'm sure the private sector would be the same.

Better yet, why not penalize them for every contract worker or temporary help they bring in, rather than offer a full time job with benefits ! Where are the unions when you truly need them ?

Obama tried that and failed. The companies fired their employees and rehired new ones to get the tax cuts.

  • Would it not be easier explaining jobs are created when workers are needed?

How would that encourage job creation?

All rich people should be stripped of their wealth. Justice demands lo less.

Because that makes no sense whatsoever.
