Anyone ever hear of the Georgian Grand Horse Breed Registry?

A freind passed alonf a photo of a 17 plus hand Saddlebred Cross which is a foundation sire for this registry. He is completely correct and magnificent! Anyone ever hear of this registry?

A Georgian Grande is a fancy name for a crossbreed. Kind of like the Friesian Sporthorse Association or the Half Draft Horse Registry of America. You can pretty much register anything these days. A "Georgian Grande" is a Friesian (or draft) Saddlebred cross. Nothing spectacular about it. As a Friesian owner, I hate seeing Friesians cross bred because it does nothing to better the Friesian breed. And it usually (not always) results in poorly put together half friesians that just look..odd.

I understand that we get new breeds from cross breeding, but it's getting to be a little ridiculous. It's a good way to sucker people in for $$$. "Just pay x amount per year to join our cross breed club". SO silly!!

I am unfamiliar with the registry and have limited knowledge on the breed.

I only know that they are a Saddlebred crossed with Friesians and draft horses. I've only seen photos, and some are gorgeous!
