How do I improve the frames per second in Saints Row: The Third on Steam?
Does anyone know how to do this without buying anything? I already have all the settings on the lowest setting, but even the dialogue is slower than it should be. If anyone could help it would be very much appreciated.

I never played much saints row, but this fix should work for most games. If the in-game settings doesnt work, you need to find the root folder of the game.
Open the setting file (in notepad).
Change from directx 11 (or 10, depending on your version) and force it to run directx 9. Save the file and reopen the game.
Turning of V-sync should also improve fps by a lot.
