1965 prediction by Paul Harvey. "If I were the Devil" Politically speaking, how accurate was he?
This was 47 years ago. April 3, 1965. An amazing prediction. Do you remember the famous ABC radio commentator Paul Harvey?
The link is only about 3 minutes and worth listening to.

I have always been a fan of Paul Harvey. In 1965 i was 10 years old and got a transistor radio. [Thanks NASA! for inventing the transistor for Apollo] Discovered that there were several Revolutions and several Movements going on in America. AM radio opened my world and while it seemed so exciting, it was apparent to me that the wheels were almost coming off America, there were so many things going on. Hippies, Anti-war activists, Feminists, Civil Rights Movement, ... there was a lot going on all at once.
And of course this:

Since then I have traveled a lot and spent 20 years fixing low-rent apartment buildings. The spiritual negativity (evil) hanging in the air had a bad effect on me. Lots of demons and mental illness in the ghetto and the Spirit of Anger pervaded the air. Didn't help that I was often the only white face for miles. Like living behind enemy lines and being in constant danger. Took a toll on me.
(I don't care about race. But there's a lot of anger downtown. Those people got shortchanged in life and they are angry.) I noticed that where there are a profusion of churches there are also lots of liquor stores....
I miss Paul Harvey. He was deadly accurate. He always came on at noon and everybody stopped work to listen. On a lighter note, he once addressed the important issue of "are there fried potatoes in Heaven". After talking about it for a minute, he concluded that there have to be fried potatoes in Heaven, because if there weren't, it wouldn't be Heaven. His logic was infallible ;)

The Great Paul Harvey. Us conservatives have been ringing this bell way before 1965 but we are now called the devil.

He grew up in the years when liberalism was taking its toll on the Europeans in the USSR, Nazi Germany, Eastern Bloc, etc. and saw what the liberals were planning on doing in the United States because though they pretend that they were obsessed by that fantasy known as "McCarthyism," they managed to be in your face no matter where you went (according to those who lived through those days that I have spoken to). He wasn't a psychic...liberalism is regressive and will never change. Though I found this eerie and it shows where we are at today in this Liberal Dystopia known as the US, it's the path that all of the leftist nations have gone down.

I remember him and his son too. He was a very conservative man, even for his times. Nonetheless, I liked the way he always said: Good Day! and here is the Rest of the Story!

Paul was spot on, too bad that no one took heed. We have allowed the scum of America to take it over.

Freedom is so dangerous. Let's go back to that old time religion. Life was so much better with the Spanish Inquisition.

Utopia is Dystopia, you just can't see it from behind glazed eyes.
The "Loop" of humanity
Barbarism to,
Society to,
Decadence to
Barbarism ... repeat.
