I think it's growing, because immigrants who are not from English speaking countries are assigned to French speaking schools. In addition the Government makes great efforts at developing and enhancing the purity of French, by requiring businesses like grocery stores and big supermarkets like Target to adopt French names.In addition the birth rates are higher in Francophone Quebec than in the Anglophone Canadian provinces
I think this is an excellent policy to prevent cultural imperialism from foreign countries to infiltrate and destroy local culture, idioms, and practices.

growing (im from quebec tabarnak) because pauline marois might ban english completly alsowe might seperate from canada also a law says that on every product (video game food and all) u need a french traduction...
a only english girl from toronto , (saw this in the news) tried to live a day in montreal without knowing 1 french word she said it was easy everybody spoke english too but when she tried to apply for a job she never found one
