Which Dance Academy Looks Better?
I'm 13 years old, and have recently have gotten REALLY into dancing (especially ballet)! Now, I do plan on mainly focusing on ballet and then here and there work on other types of dance. This is because I do realize that it is vital that you experience many types of dance in order to put yourself above others when it comes to dance auditions (for the later years). I do plan on being at some point in my life a dancer that people will remember forever.
So! I live in Northern Virginia, and when looking for dance academies around my area not 'many' results come up. But, I found two of the most excellent dance academies, in my area. Now, here are each of the dance academy's websites:
1) http://www.conservatoryballet.com/ (Conservatory Ballet Academy)
2) http://www.danceashburn.com/ (Studio Bleu Dance Center)
Visit each of the websites, and read about them for a little bit, then give me your opinion. Which dance academy do you think will be best a shaping me into the best dancer possible? Thank you!

While the first studio isn't professional ballet training as the teachers were trained mostly at their school and didn't have careers. However, they did produce one dancer who had a ballet career.after moving on to better training elsewhere, Keenan Kampa would most likely have a ballet career starting most anywhere with the gifts for ballet that she posses. She is currently with Boston Ballet but trained in Russia at the Mariinsky. While not an elite school it is way better than the other choice,
The second studio doesn't even list their dance teachers and their ballet photos show poor form.
* If you are serious about ballet training you have 2 choices nearby. Look to Washington ballet's affiliate school and the Kirov in D.C. They have both pre-pprofessional level training as well as an open track if I am not mistaken.

Neither one is really good if you want a career in ballet. You should look for something else but if you must go to one go to the Conservatory Ballet Academy.

It depends, if you are really focused only in ballet and then just want to try out like contemporary go to the first one, otherwise go to the second one!
personally i would go to the second one it looks really good, why don't you go and take a class in both and decide? it's always better to see what the people at the studio are like and the teachers also, also the atmosphere of the place ;)

Well may I just say, if you have RECENTLY got into dancing then you won't be able to go anywhere with it; excepts to classes to enjoy the art of dance. Either one looks great, they both offer your level of classes!
