Does this sound like a developing eating dissorder?

I purge, a fair amount, I chew gum, I hardly eat, im obsessed with calories, and I once binged.

Does this sound like a developing eating dissorder?

It's been happening for about a week, but the calorie thing has been going on for a longer time.

    Yes it does. And let me tell you, binging and what leads to it will have more unhealthy effects on you than if you just eat regularly. If you purge and hardly eat, your body will store the food you do eat for a long time into fat, because it doesn't know when it will get fed next. If you eat a couple of smaller, healthier meals thoughtout the day, it will get your body's metabolism up and it won't have to store as much food because it knows it will be fed soon.

    Chewing gum is fine, but not without eating! Food is tasty and it always feels good to have a full, natural stomach instead of a skin and bones, malnutritioned one that might happen if you develop an eating disorder. Please eat more, your body needs it. Don't tell me your stomach never growls but you refuse to eat that piece of bread or fruit because you're scared of becoming fat. Eating healthy foods more often will make you have a much more healthy glow than not eating at all. Good luck!

    FIRST. Calm down. Secound im guessing ur a girl. STOP WORRYING ABOUT WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. Because just because you dont like the way you look does not mean evrey one els doese too. It does sound like a eating dissorder if your hardly eating because you choose not to. if its just randumly you dont eat your fine just be more active i bet youll eat then .
