Why are my browsers so slow?

Hey guys,

I have an 2.5 GHz Intel i5, 4GB of RAM, and a 7200rpm Hard drive, yet my browsers have been acting so slow lately.

Firefox: Takes normal time to boot up, but crashes after a couple of minutes,

Chrome: Takes 20 seconds to boot up, and then takes 10 seconds to load each page.

Safari: Takes 60 seconds to boot up, then normal.

This only started to happen a couple of days ago, but it is constant now. I checked and my internet is fine. I only use 3gb of ram at a time so its not like i need any more.

Cheers guys.

Update:

Thanks guys all solved, I cleared my Cache, can't believe I didn't think of it earlier :P.

Do not install unnecessary programs. this can slow down your pc, use disk cleanup and Defragment now to c drive to make your pc fast. clean temp, internet, thumbnails and more files using disk cleanup after few days. to do this just right click on c drive and click properties and chose disk cleanup it will take few seconds. to do Deframent move to tab tools.
