Naruto Shippuden or Naruto?

Oh my gosh I absolutely love both, but I must say Naruto was very memorable and often I'll go back and watch some of my favorite episodes.. but Shippuden has had some really memorable and emotional moments too so far. I chose Naruto because I've lost track of where I was and what exactly is going on in Shippuden, but I will catch back up eventually....I watch dubbed though as well and its my preferred way to watch anime in general, so you are not alone :)

Well a lot of people go for Naruto but I prefer Shippuden. It's true the original is more hearty and comical but I feel Shippuden is more dark and has better action. It's just an opinion. However, the whole "Sasuke" thing is really annoying. Nevertheless, I still prefer Shippuden because of how badass the villains are. I mean look at Pain. The Naruto vs. Pain fight was epic! You've gotta admit. :P

Naruto Shippuden

If you only watch the dubbed version I would definitely say Naruto because the dubbed version of Naruto Shippuden was not as good as the subtitled from what I watched. I have enjoyed Naruto Shippuden however I really did love some of the plots from the first series and find myself rewatching them more often.

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN!!!

well personally i also liked naruto but naruto shippuden is just on a whole other level!!...the story gets more epic, the fights get more epis, the characters get more epic, even the emotional scenes get more epic!!....

though i understand you too because some people like funny and lighter things more but i personally think that i like dark and violent things...though yeah i do miss the old things like naruot and sasuke always fighting each other and naruto playing different pranks on him but thats actually what makes naruto shippuden so sad that like how once they were all friends always laughing but now its all gone...all of them have picked different ways, sasuke turned from bad to evil and also all of them had their bitter pasts revealed......naruto shippuden just makes me think how much people can change and how two friends so close to each other are now so distant but they still remember each other and think each other as brothers.....naruto shippuden just gives me that feeling which is just so hard to explain.....

oh by the way i watch subs because i dont really like dubs....just watch subs for once and notice the sound and talking style of sasuke???....in english he speaks so fiercely like "SAKURA!!!" but in shippuden he speaks so politely like "saa kurraaa"....its just so cute...

oh btw if you dont watch dubs then i think you still haven't watched the pain arc....THAT PAIN ARC WAS INDEED THE BEST ARC IN THE HISTORY OF NARUTO!!!!

Well I give you props For watching shippuden dubbed, I wanted to shoot myself when I heard some of the voices. But I like the more mature take on shippuden. Naruto is awesome and had alot netter filler type episodes. But the main battles in shippuden are just nuts. Plus naruto useing the new forms of his Resangan is amazing. I lost tack of shippuden like right when he started to get trained on how to control the ninetails. But I like the somewhat more darker tent to the shippuden saga better.

Shippuden all the way. It's not like I hate the old Naruto in any way, but the newer one gives a nicer aura to it. It has a better plot that's deeper and more emotional. The original one was just kind of his childhood. It's similar to life. Our childhoods are always fun to look back to, but the time now is when we can REALLY experience life to the fullest. You get my drift?

plot wise i think Naruto is better now action wise Shippuden surpasses the first one. Shippuden's plot is not that bad, my main problem is that Naruto has become too Emo, Obsessive and Overpowered all of the sudden.
