2)a stone is dropped from a window of a tall building & falls for 3s before it hits the ground. How tall is the building? What is the speed of the stone?

3) How much work is done in lifting a 60 kg sack of rice to a distance of 10 m?

    1) in fact it moves 20 km North and 40 km East. so

    20^2+40^2=X^2 x=20√5

    2) (g=10 m/s^2) Height is 35 m and the speed is 30 m/s

    3) a parameter is missing , you have to have the Acceleration to calculate the Force then W=F.D

    4) (g=10 m/s^2) also a missing one , the minimum force needed to lift the crate is F>= 4000 N

so it depends on the force
