Is there a type of fish for soneone that HATES seafood?
For as long as I can remember I've hated seafood. The problem is that I really want to like it. Is there a fish or type of seafood that doesn't have the nasty "fishy" smell or taste?

Talapia with a squeeze of lemon after its been cooked!! It'll have little fish taste but nothing like pink salmon or trout. I'm not a huge sea food fan either but this I will eat!

Fresh tuna, well prepared and cooked, has little fishy smell or taste and should not
be offensive to many people.
Monkfish (poor man's lobster) has something of a lobster taste and texture and is quite good.
Codfish is a clean white-fleshed fish with little fishy taste.
There are probably many others, but if these fish are taken fresh and are prepared well I think you might like them. I, like you, do not like the nasty fishy taste that some fish have.

Swordfish is almost more like meat. Tuna can be too, fresh tuna. Salmon is liked by many people(like me) who aren't nuts about seafood in general. Squeezing a bit of fresh lemon juice on it just before serving, or using a tart sauce, can reduce the fishiness. Crab, in a casserole or sauce, is not very fishy tasting.

Only oily fish have that smell.
Clean, freshly caught fish don't smell. Try cod, halibut, sole. Very bland white fish with no particular flavour (which is why it's often battered and deep fried or served with a sauce).

Tilapia. it is not "fishy" in any respect. you could additionally get it interior the frozen section. right this is a recipe you need: you could need: 4 tilapia fillets flour pro salt 2 zucchinis 2 yellow squashes a million/2 an onion 2 cloves garlic, chopped black pepper a million/4 white wine a million. Coat the thawed tilapia in flour pro with "pro salt" 2. Brown the coated tilapia in a pan coated with a combination of olive oil and vegetable oil (to maintain the olive oil from burning). while browned on the two factor, eliminate from pan to empty on a paper towel coated plate. 3. Sautee the chopped onion, garlic, sliced yellow squash and zucchini. eliminate the vegetables from the pan. 4. placed the tilapia on the backside of the pan 5. cover with the cooked vegetables. 6. cover with a can of chopped tomatoes and a sprint of white wine. 7. Sprinkle with a sprint black pepper. permit simmer like this on low for roughly 20 minutes till the fish is punctiliously cooked. i think of even a nonfish eater will like this. (remember, if the fish tastes fairly fishy, it could have been too previous.)

You hate seafood, you're asking this in the VEGETARIAN VEGAN section.
Don't. Eat. Fish.
Amazingly , it will work. Looking for a reason to kill a person, fish or other animal, just to eat it? Tell me why.

You posted this question in the vegetarian section. Vegetarians do not eat fish.
The mildest fish is probably pollock. Cod is also "unfishy."
