    The answer is NOT.

It's better for you to donate the money to charity, rather than send it to someone you never meet.

ANY time a person you only know online but do not know in person asks you for money for ANY reason, it's a SCAM. There are NO exceptions. It doesn't matter if she's from Nigeria (home of the internet dating scam) or Norway or Nebraska

Who goes shopping in Nigeria, especially when the State Department has a travel advisory against all but essential travel. And if she were there on business, she would have to be sponsored by a Nigerian company and they would be the ones giving her money

I can't believe people still fall for these scams, especially when they are telling you they are in the country that invented internet scams.

Just google Nigerian dating scams to see how common this is

She is in Nigeria alright, shopping for SUCKERS who would send her money and expect nothing in return. As long as you are willing to send her money, she will continue the chat, and tell you whatever you want to hear about how she loves you and is getting new clothes and passport and plane tickets with your money, and what she bought and how she needs more for her parents, sisters and brothers, elder of her church, etc etc until you realize it is ALL A SCAM, and you will never meet this person...you will just be out the money. By the way, the sexy pictures she sends you are NEVER of her, and if you ask her to go on webcam so you can see her live, there is always a broken cam, or sis has it, but you will NEVER see her live.

No, you should never send someone money especially if you don't know them. Be careful who you talk to.

since you have an extra $250, why don't you put them to real use and help someone who really needs it.
