who wants to rate my book idea?

Since this novel is told by three character's points of view, I will break those into separate paragraphs.

To start, the novel starts with Captain Julius Santos, a squad commander of a special forces ODA in the United states army. He is leading a night time assault to capture a high value target, Ventrino, a terrorist in a group similar and to Al Qaeda, but since it is less heard of, its secrecy makes it more dangerous. Santos captures Ventrino initially, and hands him over to his sister teams to take away. An explosion goes off, killing Santos' sister teams, and the battle that ensues kills four of his men and leaves one missing in action. Ventrino can not be confirmed dead or alive. The captain is shamed for being unable to capture Ventrino and is warned if he can't complete his next mission his job will be handed to someone more capable. This leads Santos to be rash, unforgiving, and desperate. When he is given replacements for his men he is given another chance to go after one of Ventrino's men, his mission is to find out whether or not Ventrino is alive or dead. He declares they will not return until they have completed their mission.

Enter Garret Miller, a new weapons sergeant that went through X ray training to enter the special forces early. Miller is young, ready to prove himself, and eager. When he heads out on the mission however, his inability quickly shows. He becomes self conscious of his actions and starts to question his abilities. His early career is questioned when he makes a mistake that leads to one of his teammates deaths. He starts to worry about his life and team's if he can't prove himself. Miller is also quick to question things, he wonders why the captain makes decisions that are too risky for the team, but he can't ask his questions. Miller is forced to face his fears and take on a role to protect his team and his nation.

Mac Von is the final character who is given a point of view. You remember when I first said that four were killed in the first mission? Well Mac wasn't killed. He was missing in action. In fact, he was captured. During the confusion of the battle his enemies were able to knock him out and capture him. He must try to escape using his skills from S.E.R.E. school, as well as trying to save a girl from doctors without borders, who is captured soon after Mac. The terrorists try to question him about America to get secrets from him. Mac must stay strong or else give away secrets of his nation and commit treason, while hoping he is found by his allies.

Minor characters include Freddie Von, a engineer sergeant on Santos' team. Martin Welsh, the medical sergeant. Janier, a drug cartel leader, Ventrino, the main terrorist. A few other characters, but i wont give them away :)

P.S. I study american history as a hobby ( I'm canadian) I studied delta force as well as read books on special forces training and tactics, so I have some knowledge on this topic. I'm just interested in whether anyone is interested in reading this or should I keep this as a "just for fun" project.
