Beauty help! Cut off my baby hair...?

When I was younger, I was really insecure about my baby hair (little short hairs that stick out at hairline. I always compared my hairline to those that had no baby hairs and wanted to have the same kind of hair. Obviously I wasn't thinking this through and ended up cutting my baby hair off. That was years ago,,, and I would continue to cut it off whenever it would grow back. Years later I'm still having to do this because I don't have the guts to let it grow back and become ever worse that it originally was. I regret doing this so much but I was probably 13 o 14 at the time. Yes, I know it was stupid. And yes I care about how I look (stated the obvious because it seems like a lot of people on yahoo answers add in their rude comments this way).

After trying to cut it off for years, I can imagine I probably cut hair that wasn't even baby hair to begin with accidentally moving my hairline back...

I know Kim Kardashian has said to have had her baby hair removed through laser.. is that safe?

I'm considering getting front bangs and letting the baby hairs grow, but considering I have been cutting a part out, wouldn't there be a space in the bangs? please help!

Update:

The problem is I've already cut it.. they're extremely short right now... you probably couldn't see it unless you looked very close. The reason it's a problem is because it's extremely embarrassing if someone touches your head there and asks you why it feels so prickly... imagine having to explain that your 7th grade self cut off your baby hair and you haven't had the guts to let it grow out over 5 years later. I guess the answer here is obvious... it just sucks to deal with this. Yes, I know there are far far greater issues in the world, just want to know how others if possibly in a similar situation have dealt with it. Is getting front bangs the only possibility?

Update 2:

Yes that's the point. If I let it grow back it will look ridiculous, it won't grow back into a normal length baby hair... it will be extremely short and pointy for a long time and will be very noticeable for someone who parts their hair to the side, without bangs.

Update 3:

I'm sure it's hard for you to imagine what I mean without a picture, if it were normal uncut baby hair like I had and like I'm assuming you have it would not be a problem... this hair is growing back darker and thicker not like the original baby hair.

Let them grow! I did the same thing when I was in 9th grade & it looked terrible, but then they grew back out & I am now a senior. If you really don't like them you can always hair spray them back or straighten them to look like cute little wisps. :) but you should deffinantly grow them out, they look wierd when they're cute because they're in the front of your head, but getting front bangs while you grow them out seems like a good idea :)

Laser is safe but expensive. Bangs could help, but let a professional determine whether or not you can do it. Also, those hairs being fine and short is so normal. They're short because they take a beating. They aren't baby hairs. They're normal and they tke a lot of damage. Always protect your hair. Try growing them out. You have your whole life to cut them off again!

I don't get it. Why don't you have the guts to let it grow back? Are you afraid of how it will look or something? let me just tell you that I have tons of baby hair basically framing my face and its super noticeable when my hair is in a pony tail but nobody has ever said anything about it MY WHOLE LIFE. it's not something that people really think about. I think you will regret it if you get laser hair removal because yes it is making your hair line go back and it doesn't look natural at all. just take a chance and let it grow out for a few months. I bet nobody will even notice and it will look fine.

♥Princess♥ I have good news for you!! Your beautiful hair will grow back. I am shocked at this so-called Barber , I mean Hair Stylist! She is not a stylist at all. I think that she should have her licence revoked. I don't know what is wrong with Hair Stylist these days , but they all have gone scissor happy. Don't worry you are not the only victim. I know of others who went through the same hell you went through. That's it , Im going to cut my own hair for now on. Now Im really scared. If you want, I will cut your hair for you ♥Princess♥. You can at least trust me!! (((Princess))) ((((*Erin*))))

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://biturl.im/aUOOw While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

I did the exact same thing! It looks like a very short fringe! I'm not confident enough to let them grow but I am going to my mum said it will take about 4 years for it to grow back but I have researched that it will only take about a year. I get teased a lot about it but who cares what they say you only live once and you learn from your mistakes xxxx

This is so late but I'm in the same situation and I was wondering if you ended up growing them out and how long it took?
