I'm dying my hair, and which should I get of these two options?

I'm going to get my layers shaped up, so my hair might just be a little shorter. But I'm going to dye it one of these:

This is my hair right now:

Which one do you think would look better? Plus in the long run, like when the roots start showing up... I've already dyed my hair black twice but it keeps fading back to brown so I'm going to get it professionally done this time.

Well I would say keep your hair as it is cause its cute but you wont listen to me (I change my hair like every week so...lol)

Ok now, your a natural brown so yur gonna have roots coming out so the blond is just too much fuss (I have natural jet bleck and I bleach my scalp like every month its a PAIN) ok now I guess you should get the one with the black roots with little blind bits on the tips SUPER CUTE and when you have roots (about 3-5 weeks) getting a "brown to black" root touchup is super easy (and not as expensive as bleach!)

You have great taste in hair color/style :D good luck! :)

Personally coloring your hair with those tones is very damaging regardless if a professional does it or not. I would stay away from the blonde keep the brown as that what your hair colour looks like in photo and ask hair dresser for opinion some use blue with brown and discreetly at that you could have fun with colors stay away from blonde

The hardest part is probably going to be getting your hair THAT blonde. it will take quite some time. You may need to use 2 applications of bleach, and if that's the case, it's going to be pretty heavy on your wallet to get it done professionally. So here is what I would do:

    1. if you've been dying your hair black, even if it's faded, there's still some dye in there, so get 2 packets of Quick Blue from Sally's and get a developer at 30-40 volume. Also, be sure to get a bottle of toner, preferably clear, but if they don;t have it, it's fine...just get any color toner.

Bleach the layers of hair that you want to have done, make sure your hair is unwashed. Also, be sure to put a LITTLE BIT of conditioner on your ends to that it doesn't fry your hair. When you're done bleaching, rinse it out and put the toner in as long as possible. The toner lifts extra color while healing your hair from the bleach.

    2. If it's not light enough after bleaching it once, wait a day or two, DONT WASH YOUR HAIR. You can get a little bit of protein filler from sally's as well, Put a little bit in your bleach (NOT TOO MUCH! maybe three drops). protein filler will help open the follicles in your hair so that the bleach gets in deeper.

    3. By now your hair should be at the lightness you wanted. Now for the black, all you need to do is add a few drops of protein filler to the black dye as well, it will help keep your hair from fading. Also, when you do the black, make sure your hair is clean:

    Dying- clean hair

    Bleaching- dirty hair.

    4. to keep the black dye from getting into the bleached parts of your hair, tie the bleached parts into pigtails, and use Petroleum Jelly on the bleached ares that might get dye on them. Vaseline will protect the bleached areas by letting the black dye sit on the hair, without dying it. Try to still be careful, since Vaseline will only prevent minor spots, and will not keep the hair from being dyes, if it's saturated with black color.

All in all, it will probably cost you half of what a pro would cost, and it would be exactly what you wanted. Every time I've had a pro do my hair, they charge me too much, my hair fades faster, and it's usually not exactly what I wanted.

    Good Luck!
