When your volunteering at the spca what do you get to do?

Clean kennels, walk dogs, play with kittens and puppies, socialize animals, etc.

When I first started volunteering, I was to clean the kennels, walk the friendly (green zone) dogs, and feed the green zone dogs. I would also clean the cat room and give them attention and play time as well.

Now I do it all (go on calls, work with reactive dogs, do vaccinations, court appearances, etc.) and if I were to take on a new volunteer I would have you do all those same things. And as you became more experienced I would have you do more of the advanced work if you would so choose to do.

A lot of rescues and shelters are different though. That is just how the ones in our area and our particular rescue work.
