Sandy Hook Bushmaster rifle used in killings - but was found in car?
Every major news outlet reported the bushmaster used in the school killings was found in a car in the school parking lot. The initial report of another person in the woods being detained have been dismissed and deleted. What is your opinion? Do you think the killer used the Bushmaster, walked back to his car and left it there, then walked back into the school to kill himself? Or do you think there is a cover-up? Or do you think this is just misinformation?

The amount of misinformation being reported by the media in this case is atrocious. I wondered this too. Just today I heard that the shooter had other weapons too (in the trunk?), and authorities simply are not providing info to all of us. Since at least one of these is clearly illegal, perhaps it would impede the investigators to make everything widely known at first. As far as the killing weapon, the rifle, not being reported inside the building until AFTER the medical examiner said that the victims were killed by a rifle, well, it does make one suspicious! Part of the problem, it seems, is the media running with limited info and making it sound like it's all the info. There was also reports of a girl friend and a friend missing, but then that info simply disappeared. So, don't be surprised if we never know the full story on this one.

It was initially reported that it had been found in the car, however later it was corrected to having been found next to the shooters body.
If you recall, It was also reported that his mother was a teacher at the school and was shot there.
That was also found to be in error, and was again corrected.
