My Yahoo Mail keeps updating itself and now I just want to return to the basic Yahoo Mail Classic. How?

Yahoo has removed all links for getting back to Mail Classic, they warned users for a long time that it would be disabled completely one of these days. However, this link still works for most who try it: http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launch . If it doesn't, you may get lucky by disabling Javascript - that also helps, but nobody knows for how long.

In case you don't know how to turn off Javascript...

For IE: tools -> internet options -> security. In security click "custom level" -> disable active scripting in the scripting section. Remember to turn Javascripting back on when you are back in Mail Classic since without it some mail functions won't work

For Firefox: tools -> options -> content, click on "disable Javascript". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in yahoo email in order to kick in the option (permanent) to switch back to classic. Do not click on the "one time" option.

Would not basic mail most effective work in undeniable text? Why doesn't Yahoo bring back the normal Yahoo basic? It used to be easy,a hundred per cent reliable, and quandary free. It would be well valued at creating the program all over the place again from scratch however without "improving it, to be equipped present it as an choice. I believe that if Yahoo did that a majority of Yahoo customers would gravitate again to the long-established Yahoo classic simply because it will thoroughly get rid of BS like Auto-propose and all the different tough crap.

This link http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launch will get you there as stated BUT it will revert back to the new mail when you close the page and open it again. What you can do is bookmark it or add it your toolbar favorites or somewhere easy to use and click it from there. If you open your mail page with the link just minimize it leave it open and use a new tab to ask or answer. Works for me.
