Is there any way to block these "skid on underpants" questions?

No. They typically get reported and erased after five minutes, but the Politics board moves so fast that it doesn't even really matter. The account gets banned, but the troll is persistent and just starts another account.

I can't help but think there *must* be better ways to pointlessly amuse oneself than that. Perhaps "Gertrude T. Gass" has never heard of video games.

I sometimes go to IMDB to talk about movies. On their site you can completely block users. You don't even see their questions once you put them on your 'ignore' list. It would be nice if YA did something like that. Right now all that happens when you block someone is there is a red mark next to their name. It's kinda pointless.
