    Are you sure you mean a flamenco guitar? They are a specialized variant of the classical guitar, not very common outside Spain, and most apt to be purchased by advanced players who are well aware of what kind of strings they take. Regardless, ANY classical guitar can ONLY be used with nylon strings if you want it to stay in playable condition.

    Flamenco guitars are built to take nylon strings. Don't put steel strings on it; the greater string tension will destroy it very quickly.
