So confused... What should I do about my (ex?) bf? :( Please help?

Question

So, this is my first semester at college. Ill try to keep this short. I met this guy at a party and we kissed so he asked for my number. very soon after he asked me to be his gf. We have been dating for two months and he was my first boyfriend, my first kiss, and i lost my virginity to him a few weeks ago. 
I knew a long time ago that he was going to a different school next semester (right now we don't go to the same school but he lives in the area) that is 3 hours away, but he was always positive about it. he said we would visit eachother and we had all summer. He said he could rly imagine himself falling for me and he wanted to make it work. Because of this i thought it would be ok to have sex with him
But the past week he has been negative about all this and yesterday when i brought it up he told me he saw no future for us. He said he didnt want to say anything untill the semester was over, he wanted to stay with me till he left. I was crying and so upset that he switched everything around on me but he kept saying "i didnt mean to do this or to hurt you... we rushed things... i rly care about u i still want to keep in contact with u... i want to end this on a good note.." 
i think i was starting to really fall for him and now this all comes out of nowhere. There is a christmas party tomorrow he still wants to take me to.. then i guess i am leaving on wednesday and thats it. I dont know if i should attemp to be friends... if i should dump him NOW... if i should be mad....if i should go to this party... plz share ur opinion

r u serious! dump him! u dont want to be one of those naive girls who stays with a guy when they are not interested and treat u wrong! and this guys is DEFINITELY immature and needs to grow up more. u deserve better and should wait longer to see what a guy is really like for while before you jump into things again :)

You found an amateur. If I assume he is genuine guy, he is a student, jobless probably unsure of his own future. He just find himself unable to go on with you, bring joy in your life but he actually seems more like a player who wants to continue even after break up, stay close to you, use the momentary indiscretions to his advantage when possible, pretend to make up and then again breakup. You're to be blamed as well for rushing this fast, guys are usually pretty slow, they keep you waiting and you need to keep them waiting as well to test their loyalty to you and to make them more emotionally attached to you. Find out by dumping him if he goes for other girls within an year, he was surely playing but you can't read their minds.

Its sad to hear your story. Because it's true he is a **** up. I don't know about his dad but he is a womanizer. He knows it and he knows you will only suffer loss and hurt if you stay with him so let him go he wont be back..

 I know because I am this way. The man your mother warned you about. It is inherent in my nature to bed as many females as i possibly can during my stay on this planet. I really cannot help my self I am compulsive beyond reproach. Women are beautiful each one more so than the one before. I am denied the happiness of a true committed relationship because of this but i see no remedy other a woman who knows what i'm like and can control me in some way other than i know.

hes not good enough for you... just leave him. He sounds like all he wants you to do is make him feel good anyway. Forget him you can do better
