Why doesn't my son look anything like me?

I recently started to notice that my son looks nothing like me or my wife, Nancy. I'm a skinny white male with brown hair. I'm not athletic at all and can only bench press 35 pounds. My wife is also skinny and white, but has blonde hair. My son, however, is super athletic (he's quarterback on his Middle School football team), has black hair, and darker skin (an orangeish tone). What is going on here???

Put yourself out your misery and get a genetic test done to find your sons actual parents. This will conclusive answer the question beyond doubt

Chances are he may just look like a different relative. You have to remember that you still carry those gentic traits from both of your parents and their parents in you. Who knows, maybe he looks like his great great grandfather or something. I have a younger sister who looks just like my grandma when she was a kid and neither of my parents look like my grandma...at all.

There is a chance of a genetic mutation. only 1% has this though

Genes are wonderful things, Maybe he takes after someone else from generations back

look back on your family tree, if not, then your wife cheated on you.
