What Economic Issues are the most important at this time?
Im writing an Economics paper where i have to write about economic issues in our country today..
Examples: gas prices, budget deficit, government, oursourcing etc... it can be anything
1. Which economic problem do you think is the most important and easiest to write about
2. Why do you feel this economic problem is so serious and what would you do to fix it

Can the US achieve economic growth without war? If you are in, you will be able to answer the two questions in your list by yourself.

The decline of the middle class of the past 40 years is the most important issue. The bottom 40% owns 0.2% of the wealth; the top 1% owns 34% of the wealth. (See the source below.)
Economic oppression is unethical. I don't think its fair that the Walton family is worth about $100 billion while Walmart employees rely on government assistance more than than any other company.
In the short run, the top income bracket should be restored to 91% when Eisenhower was president. Raise the minimum wage to above 1969 real wages. American infrastructure is deteriorating. We need a lot of government spending there too.
