I'll tell you something that I believe in: Since the mid-1970's, America has been full of lunatics who shoot and kill people for no good reason. Remember the Son of Sam? I don't know what happened, but crazy people have been on the loose for more than 35 years now.

Yes, you are right, but you are also wrong. He cut school security, but that does not mean that he was responsible for the shooting. The security in schools would definitely have cut down those numbers. However, Obama did not go into that school and kill those kids, therefore he was not responsible completely.

What a fool. The gunman SHOT his way into the school through a locked glass door. What good would a metal detector have done. Unless there had already been a SWAT team ready and waiting for him at the door, it's doubtful anything could have stopped him from entering.

Adam Lanza acted on his own so he alone is to blame and he is in hell right now. Obama should not take the blame for the tragedy or try to lay the blame on anyone else. There was nothing wrong with Nancy Lanza being a Prepper. Obama and the evil lame-stream media should stop trying to use Preppers as scapegoats for this crime.

Logic, its desperately trying to slap Americans around the face......but youre all still failing to get it. He was firing as he entered the building. If an armed police officer was present at the entry of the school, he would have had to clear his weapon from its holster, aim and fire.........against a trained marksman who was ALREADY FIRING AN AUTOMATIC WEAPON. You simply would have added a police officer to the death toll. As for a metal detector.............................rofpmsl at the lack of logic in thinking that an inanimate object would have stopped the gunman from entering the school...........

ETA @ Stanley: I repeat, the gunman was shooting as he entered the building. He did not ring the doorbell, he did not ask for admittance, he did not pause at the metal detector......an armed guard would simply have become another victim. Logic......feel it slapping you? The armed guard would have needed time to pull his weapon and aim.....in this instance he would in fact, just like the principal of the school who tried to intervene, be dead.

ETA: Youre arguing semantics. Semi auto, fully auto, makes no difference in this case. That an armed cop could have cleared his weapon, aimed and fired to kill when there was already a hail of bullets flying around him is a logical fallacy. A semi automatic weapon is still FULLY capable of throwing out at least 100 rounds in 10 minutes if you are proficient at reloading and have the magazines available and preloaded. A semi auto rifle should NOT be used for hunting. It defeats the purpose. Semi autos, fully autos should NOT be available for domestic use. This is ALL based on events that have been reported as having been the reality of the Sandy Hook shooting. The police investigating the shooting HAVE made these facts available to the public. There is no mystery and certainly no mistake.

I disagree with, some of the other answers, metal detectors at school doors would have stopped an armed attacker (just like they do at court houses) and armed police could have , put that madman down.

Just because you don't like Obama doesn't mean every bad thing that happens in the country is his fault. Believing that only makes you look like a fool.

So Obama is to blame? It seems like every time something happens, stupid people (yourself) blame obama. Yes, the extra security would of help. But do you honestly think a metal detector would of stopped a guy with an assault rifle determined to kill children? No. And extra security. I never see more then 1 cop in our school. 2 pistols and an assault rifle VS one standard quality, police issued gun? The ONLY people that can be blamed is the source of his weapons, and his mother for raising him horribly.
