Did Connecticut killer commit the massacre because of the "End of the World"?
I heard a theory, that in a warped way, Adam Lanza may have killed his mother and all the people at the school to "save them" from the end of the world that is supposed to come Dec 21 2012. His mother was prepared for doomsday scenarios will her stockpile of guns and food.
Is this theory just nonsense?

I think this theory, albeit interesting, doesn't fit. His act was so cruel, so inhumane that I believe he could not experience empathy. No, he did not act out of some sense of warped concern. He acted out of rage. Why? I do not know.

Nonsense. No one knows the end of the world. His mom may have been preparing for something, but the big question is why did she have those guns in the house with that kid?? Knowing he was unstable. If she lived through this she should have been put away as well.
