What is most important when buying an SSD?

I built a custom computer a little while ago (6 months roughly) and now I want to upgrade the hard drive to an SSD, preferably 180GB.

I have cut the list down to 2, but I am having trouble eliminating any more. What should I be looking for? IOPS or Read/Write Speeds???

    You must set your bios in addition from the ssd first, this way the running system might be on the ssd and it is going to run rapid and you should utilize the hdd to store your files on
