What sort of meat/bones are safe to feed to me dog?

She is a Maltese x poodle and I want to get her a real meat bone for her teeth but I'm not sure what to buy, can they eat like chicken necks? Or some part of a cow? Lol and does it have to be raw?

Bones should be too large and sturdy to be splintered or broken, bones should be raw, and bones should be fresh enough and from a local enough source that there are not questions about contamination since raw meat and bones can harbor a lot of nasty bacteria.

Beef bones are a good choice, poultry and pork bones splinter more easily and tend to carry more pathogens. Cooking causes the bones to become brittle and pose a splintering/choking risk.

They cannot eat chicken or fish bones as they can choke. Raw cow bones or pork are okay for dogs. Don't cook them as the dog can bite of sharp bits and get hurt.

NEVER give a dog cooked bones, they can be fatal. They can splinter & cause a blockage, or damage the dogs organs.

Raw bones are fine, they help clean dogs teeth, by removing Tatar build up on there teeth.

Deer antlers are fabulous,& I highly reccomended them. Natural, she'd antlers are great for dogs. They provide mental simulation, clean dogs death, satisfies there urge to chews & are long lasting.

    Edit:

Deer antlers are most common but there are also Caribou, Elk & Moose antlers:

Any type of bone besides bird or fish. The bone has to be large enought that it couldn't get stuck in his/her throat if they try to swallow it. :)
