You're insensitive for not at least feeling some sorrow over this latest shooting, But you're not a bad person , just emotionally isolated from these incidents, i'm sure if some tragedy hit closer to home for you , you'd feel it.

that's simply by fact liberalism/socialism has taken over society and executed away with any ethical teachings interior the universities. bear in mind while prayer and the ten commandments have been taken out of public colleges? Public colleges today do not coach any genuine experience of perfect and incorrect, yet instead coach liberalism, that's amoral and void of any experience of perfect habit. Then there is the media, the flicks, video games, none of which sell any morality, yet instead glorify homicide and all sorts of violence. Even the best time television exhibits are a shame to any experience of morality! ultimately, there's a regular breakdown of the kinfolk, that's the place the coaching of morality and a feeling of perfect and incorrect are meant to originate from, yet now not occurs in many situations. while toddlers improve up in the variety of society void of any teachings of morality, what do anticipate the end result could be, different than what they have been taught? IF very almost each and everything and everybody around them are telling them that's okay to do such issues, then of direction they act out what they have found out. toddlers many times don't understand the version between what they see in a action picture or video game and fact, so a number of them will see violence as a valid selection.

Ur not bad. Ur just a normal human.
I thought the same for the shooting. When my mom and sister told me about it i was like i dont care i didnt know them so why should i.
Later that night though, a guy changed my thoughts.
U should be thankful u didnt know them or it wasnt u. U should get in their shoes. How would u feel if it were ur little cousin or brother? Or son/daughter? What if u were that little boy/girl or a teacher there?
As for 9/11, i did actually feel bad cause of all the mothers and wifes who were left alone. One of the victims wife was pregnant and he didnt even know! Another was gonna go into labor and he wasnt there. Also, my family is very lucky cause my uncle had just gotten out from a building next to the first tower. He couldve died but didnt.
But anyways, i dont think theres anything wrong with u. Depending on what it is exactly though, it can sometimes be a psychological problem. But since i know how u feel, i think ur just normal. Im sure many others feel like we do:)

Ok, don't listen to the people saying you're a "dikk." They weren't properly educated. As far as sympathy for school shootings and 9/11, you shouldn't feel like you're alone in this. It's much better to accept that you don't have a connection to these events instead of pretending like you care.
Wait for the next tragedy to occur and then watch your facebook feed blow up. The majority of people will post some stupid status beginning with "My heart goes out to all those affected..." I guarantee it. In my opinion, It makes you a much better person to recognize that it doesn't relate to your life in any way.
For the people who post those statuses, it may seem like they care, but seriously, they are doing nothing for society by writing it. Even if their heart is in the right place, they are just inflating their ego.
Thank you for not living in that dream world. When people call you insensitive, they are just trying to make themselves feel more caring about this stuff.

You're quite young, aren't you?
You've never had anything bad happen to you, so you haven't yet learnt the art of compassion. Don't worry....one day it'll be your turn to be devastated by the loss of a loved one, then you'll understand why people feel compassion for others.
Merry Christmas.

Not at all. I didn't cry about Darfur or Rwanda either. There are so many tragedies around the world, you'd never stop crying. The ones that affect you personally are different.

If you were in a lunch room full of these other superficial little twats I bet you'd pretend to care so they wouldn't snub you though. Go on it's easy.
