Well the rain isn't going to kill him. However, it's a well known fact that big breed puppies of under 6 months shouldn't be having too much organised exercise. Organised as in on the road or other hard surface. So there's jogging, and jogging. At under 5 months, it would be far wiser to keep any exercise to going at his own pace, free-running in a park or field. Once over 6 months, you then very gradually start to build up the muscle tone to support his joints/bones. Too much too soon can lead to all kinds of growth disasters which you really don't need. By the time he's a year, or slightly over even depending on how big a Shep. he is, he should be good to go. But at 5 months - nah. It's not worth risking him end up forever on 3 legs.

ok....enable me get this perfect: ~a million) you have a 5 month previous sixty 5 pound German Shepherd ~2) The canines jumps, bites and barks at your 8 365 days previous daughter ~3) He chases your 6 pound Yorkie and the cat ~4) And on some days he's continuously attacking them ~5) you're 9 months pregnant & approximately to grant transport ~6) you're afraid the canines is going to break the newborn ~7) Your daughter remains in her room all day with the countless canines and cat ~8) The puppy gets countless work out ~10) you're taking the canines out to tennis courts some circumstances an afternoon and throw the ball ~11) you're taking him for walks 2 or 3 circumstances an afternoon ~12) you're continuously correcting & clever i think of it particularly is properly marvelous that at 9 months pregnant you should flow out 4 to 6 circumstances an afternoon with this puppy. And walking a sixty 5 pound canines as pregnant as you're is extraordinary! If ANY of it particularly is real, you do no longer % a ask your self collar. you prefer to re-residing house this puppy to somebody who's unsleeping of the breed and the owing to handle it. you're risking your daughter's safety and your unborn toddler. now to no longer coach the undesirable Yorkie and the cat. eliminate the puppy.

Not unless your dog doesn't like getting wet. It bothers some dogs and not others, and the actual fact of jogging in the rain won't harm him at all. He won't melt.

I would not do it. Probably an adult that is used to weather and used to exercise may be fine, but not a puppy for both reasons.

    If it's raining, I wouldn't do it.
