Because it ran out of gas after the 13th Amendment was ratified.

The 4th amendment to the constitution protects towards unreasonable searches and seizures. I can't fathom how this might formulate an argument in opposition to slavery. Slaves on the time the structure and invoice of Rights had been drafted had been considered property. The 4th amendment might be used to prevent the seizure of a slave but it surely are not able to represent an argument towards slavery. Are you certain there's now not extra to the query or if you have the proper question?
