If a baby is adopted at birth will he/she still have characteristics of its' birth parents?

    Hi Yes the child will have characteristics of its natural birth parents, it is just how they are brought up that counts. But their personality will come from their birth parents.

    I'm sure you are asking about the child's personality. It will have the usual human characteristics: limbs, hair, etc. Its traits will be both inherited and acquired. Some traits, such as hair and eye color, are inherited. Other traits, such as height and weight, have a genetic component but can be influenced by environment. Personality is also both inherited and acquired. Studies done on separated identical twins find that a lot of personality is inherited because the twins tended to approach life the same way. How they spoke, the phrases they used, their opinions, were influenced by their environment and individual experiences.

    Yes he/she will still have characteristics of the birth family. I think as far as personality environment plays half the role and the genetics play the other half.
