No because my parents let me and my sisters watch Child's Play Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street and play Mortal Kombat II for SNES when we were kids and even today I play games like Resident Evil and Metroid and right now I'm 28 and my sisters are 25 and 26 years old and not once have we ever even considered killing anyone.

No. Not due to music, not video games, not movies, but a culture that values life less and less.
As I heard someone say recently, "Guns in America are nothing new. We've had guns in American society as long as they've existed. Surges in violence are not due to the abundance of weapons, but the scarcity of the value of human life".

look at it from this attitude: violence has been around long earlier videogames have been even an theory. the reason those shootings shop occurring is using the fact weapons are so damn ordinary arise with. if i had to (yet i don't) i could get one with the aid of the tip of the day. violent videogames are in simple terms a thank you to have relaxing and launch a number of that rigidity that reasons people to pass loopy interior the 1st place. the form of risky people who could be infuenced in the variety of way with the aid of video games have been already achievable first of all I promise you. variety of like how there are all sorts of kit and gadgets meant for construction and restoration, yet you do not see too many toddlers identifying on up a rake and going to bathe a backyard basically for the hell of it while they see somebody else doing it on television. that's all approximately how a violent guy or woman needs to act. final yet not least, violence has a tendency to be instilled in people set with the aid of occasion from genuine existence circumstances. videogames, as sensible as they're growing to be to be, are nevertheless very notably distinctive from genuine existence.
