Is Jett a respectable nickname for a girl?

Short for Juliet?

Update:

Julie is so mainstream though...

How about Jetta?

It's not bad, but respectable doesn't come to mind (not that it isn't), it just doesn't sound rather professional or serious for a grown woman in a work place, if that's what you mean by respectable, but it's cute for a pet name at home or school.

My great-grandmother (who would be over 100 now, so not at all current, trendy or tacky) was named Jett short for Jetta.

I think it is a great nickname for Juliet because Juliet is extremely feminine, while Jett is not.

It seems like a reasonable nickname. I think Jett is a really cute nickname for Juliet. I love the name Juliet on it's own though. It's so pretty and feminine.
