Did you know that the Connecticut shooters AR-15 was "Assault Weapon" ban compliant?

http://reason.com/blog/2012/12/17/how-do-we-know-a...

During a ban AR-15s AK-47s etc are still legal under a ban. They are merely modified to not include a pistol grip, bayonet lug, telescoping stock.

Here are some AR-15s and other scary guns that will still be available if there is another Federal "Assault Weapon" ban.http://www.bushmaster.com/firearms/state_compliant...

Do you realize how pointless an assault weapon ban is now?

    SO.........

I want to feel morally superior by pushing for gun control.

Fk the fact their is no correlation between what I'm proposing and what I claim I want to achieve.

This is about EMOTIONS. If you don't agree with me YOU'RE A MONSTER who doesn't care about children.

Are you actually trying to nitpick this? You maniac! So what if the weapon was legally purchased? That is the point!

Yes, the mother bought the gun legally. Yes, like so many other gun owners she was killed with it by her own son. We still haven't dealt with the terroists of the NRA whose deliberate actions have prevented any real gun control from protecting law abiding citizens from terrorists or the mentally unbalanced.

That you should dare to nitpick about what kind of gun was used shows how stupid you are! Ignorant nitpicking will end up getting even more kinds of weapons banned. The Second Amendment guaranteed you access to a flintlock musket, and if you can't grow the sense to see that modern weapons in unstable hands are a greater danger to the nation you don't deserve anything more deadly.

Fine, then, if you insist we will ban everything more complicated than a musket. Happy now?

I actually would be more in favor of banning high capacity clips or magazines. However, all what you are saying proves, is that the ban or previous bans were not comprehensive enough, if they still allowed a lot of weapons that people would like to get out of the hands of the public.

So you are coming out in favor of the murder of 20 children, huh?

Shhhh.... You sound stupid when you promote murder.

The NRA has been intelligent enough to keep its yap shut; why haven't you?

    ****

An "assault weapon" is defined as a semi automatic or automatic rifle designed to be used by infantry in combat. Yep, there are giant loopholes you and the rest of the murder-promoting traitors demanded be put in the ban. So you're saying that we should stop listening to illiterate morons like you who promote murder and close the loopholes next time? I'm all for that!

Though I agree with your points, one has to be an ignoramus to even believe that assault weapon is not an oxymoron. Its amazing how the libs can call some weapons assault weapons and their believers eat it up. Liberalism is a religion!

    Source(s): You're welcome!
  • Yep and in fact I know the rifle used isn't even a real assault weapon.
