How long will it take for the Orthodontist to remove my braces?

I am getting my braces off tomorrow morning at like. 8:30am. I would like to know how long does it all take? I'll be getting a permanent retainer put on the back of my two front teeth so I guess they won't need a mold of my teeth for a plastic retainer. It is scheduled for an hour and they also might want to take x-rays to see if my wisdom teeth are going to come or not. I'm a little nervous, so any information would be great. ^_^ I have sensitive gums too, so I'm a little worried about the metal ring around the molars? Would it hurt to be removed? Thank you for any help. <3

I got my bottom braces on today and the one ring for me got replaced because the part that the wire goes through broke off. For me when they took it off they moved it around a little and it kind of poked my gum and it hurt a tiny tiny bit. My gums are sensitive too and when I got the bands put on or that one band taken off I didn't bleed. There's nothing to worry about, you'll be fine. As for how long they take to be removed, I'm not sure, I haven't had that done yet.

Its not bad at all, just make sure they scrape all the cement off of your teeth because mine didn't and I was so sick of sitting in other chair and having them slip a couple different times. I wanted my dentist to do it.

Not saying that to scare you, I was never really happy with my ortho. And after many years of having braces I still have a huge gap between two teeth. Its wide enough that I can fit a nail file between them!

It takes about 30 minutes. It's slightly uncomfortable.
