I need some help.. please anyone?
Last night me and 2 of my friends broke into the elementry school in my town and got caught.. The cop gave me a break and didnt take me to jail but i had to write a statement and i have to turn it into him tomorrow night. Im afraid im going to go to jail.. I live in michigan and im 17 years old, I will end up having to go to court but idk.. Can i have some advice please? does anyone know if i will go to jail? this is my first offence ive never been in trouble with the police before.

No you're not going to jail. You might get stuck with a fine and some community service but that's probablyit. And once you're 18 you're juvenile criminal record should get expunged so really I wouldn't worry about it at all

This could be recorded as a minor felony, and you will be forgiven at age 18. Breaking in to school, would be seen by some people as serving time.

Since you haven't been in trouble before you probably will just get probation. My advice would be to get a lot of positive recommendations from teachers etc to show the judge, approving your good character.
