First off, you're going to need pretty high comp specs in order to even run Dolphin, (and even then there's a chance of getting a low FPS.
These are the minimum requirements of running ROMs on Dolphin, (as with all games, the higher the specs, the better performance you'll have.)

If the requirements aren't the issue, then it might be the ROM. There are a lot of Gamecube ROMs that have corrupted data or just won't run in general. I recommend downloading your ROMs off of CoolRoms since all of their ROMs are in working condition. (They actually just came out withe Gamecube ROMs a few days ago, so don't expect there to be a large selection to choose from, (although, most of the classics will be on the list.))
And if you haven't already done so, most of the ROMs are in zipped files, so in order to run them, you need to unzip, (and in some cases mount,) the file(s). You can use any unzipping program to do this, (such as WinRar, WinMount and 7zip.) After that, you simply start up the emulator, open your game file, (it's compatible with .gcm and .iso files,) and hit play on Dolphin. If all else fails, I would look up directions pertaining the ROM that you are using to see how to get it to work, (most of the time, it will though.)

You need a high-end PC to play a GC emulator. Dolphin is a very demanding (and complicated) program. Each game may require it's own settings for some. You might have to play around with the settings to get the game to work (try Youtube for help).
Out of all the emulators (GBA, SNES, NES, etc...) PCSX2 and Dolphin are the most complicated. If you don't have a powerful rig, then I don't think you'll get past 15fps in game (even though it shows 100% 60fps speed in menus, as if it wants to get your hopes up before crushing them).
Also, it may be a problem with certain roms. I don't know about the entire NTSC, PAL, or EU or any of that nonsense, but I know that the region of the disc may effect how it runs in emulators.

Lol your lost kid, the wii is basically two consoles, gamecube and wii. You can play gamecube games on your wii by putting them into the cd holder as you do for wii games, but you have to get a gamecube memory card and controller in order to play
